About 6 years ago I rated this place a 2 star.

Today we noticed a sign that said, “Now Open”. We assumed it was under new management.

To our excitement, the food was awesome. The denver omelette had wonderful fluffy eggs. The country fried steak was done perfectly with good gravy (the last time the gravy tasted like flour).

If you've been here previously, try it again.

If you haven't, try it.

A definite must stop and have a meal. The service was excellent very friendly and accommodating to the customer. The cook was not only the best but he was the owner as well. He used his own personal recipes. All the food was homemade and fresh. Mash potatoes were real not that instant kind. I highly recommend this place.

Under new ownership, family owned and operated. The food is mostly made from scratch and really well done. We go for breakfast most weekends. The biscuits and gravy is the best in the county! Omelets and breakfast burritos are amazing. They are also open for lunch and dinner with lots of great choices.

If you haven't checked out the new Roxbury Deli - GO!!!! You will not be disappointed.

More like a diner than a deli and that's a great compliment! The food here is very well prepared and served by very friendly people. If you want diner food that is “done right” - go to the Roxsbury Deli!!!

And the desserts? - exceptional. Got a piece of carrot cake to go and thought I would have it after dinner. When I saw it - and tasted it - it was dinner! If you like desserts that aren't sickening sweet but are still home crafted and delicious, this is the place for you. This cake was was tasteful but not too sweet - not too hearty and no nuts - just right for my taste! The cream cheese frosting is luscious but not disgustingly sweet and not too thickly spread. It's just a really good cake. I can imagine having it for breakfast with a good cup of coffee.

Bottom line is that this is a local treasure. Go there!
